After a lifetime of being a city-dweller, I now live in the sleepy village of Smiths Lake on the mid-coast of NSW.  My main interests are experimenting with the ideas of expanded drawing and divergent ways of seeing through the mediums of painting, printmaking, pen & ink drawing and sculpture.  ​

My work reflects the coastal landscapes of the lakeshore and seashore - the intersection of land and water.  I look for objects-vistas-moments in time that provoke emotional responses, and transform these responses into works on paper and sculpture.​

Plein air sketching in charcoal and photographing the places that delight me provide the foundation.
